Alaska Airlines on Friday will enable travelers arriving to the United States on international flights to use the VeriFly mobile health passport app, the carrier announced.
With the app, travelers can verify that they meet entry requirements and upload necessary documents, including the negative Covid-19 test required to enter the United States. Use of the app is not a requirement, according to the carrier.
An Alaska spokesperson said the carrier is exploring using the app in other markets as well but could not yet release additional details.
