In response to the latest CDC U.S. travel requirements, AMResorts is rolling out on-property Covid-19 antigen testing across the majority of its properties.
Starting Jan. 26, AMResorts guests will be able to schedule an onsite departure test via their concierge. Tests will be administered by international private hospital network Hospiten, with results available the same day.
The Hospiten testing program will be available across most AMResorts destinations, except for Costa Rica, Curacao, St. Martin and Acapulco, Ixtapa and Huatulco, Mexico. According to AMResorts, testing provider details in those markets are “pending.”
Additionally, AMResorts is providing free, extended quarantine-stay coverage for all guests traveling to the U.S., through March 31. Under the policy, a guest who receives a positive test result while on property and is unable to depart will have the cost of an on-property quarantine covered for up to 14 days. (That coverage is inclusive of the stay for both the guest and one travel companion sharing the same room.)

AMResorts’ portfolio, located throughout Mexico, Jamaica, Curacao, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Panama and Spain, includes 67 properties under the Zoetry, Secrets, Dreams, Now, Reflect, Sunscape and Alua brands.
