JetBlue Sweetens Mint Offering for Transatlantic Flights

JetBlue has developed a new version of its premium Mint product with more private suites and new “studios,” which it plans to debut when it begins transatlantic service this summer.

The new Mint configuration features 24 suites with private doors, similar to the four individual suites in JetBlue’s current Mint configuration. The suites include 17-inch screens for entertainment, wireless charging capabilities and storage areas for laptops, shoes and handbags.

In addition, the configuration includes two Mint Studios in the front row, which have larger screens, a lie-flat bed and an extra seat for guests that can be used at cruising altitude.

The new Mint product will first appear on JetBlue’s service to London this summer. JetBlue also will add a 16-seat version of the new product on select flights between New York and Los Angeles later this year.
