Imagine a world where you never have to wait impatiently at the baggage claim as your luggage makes its journey from plane to turnstile. What if we told you that such a world exists? That’s right, a new service offers to pick up your bags so you can sashay off the plane and onto whatever fabulous plans await.

Grab My Bag Is A New Luggage Delivery Service

Convenient and affordable, Grab My Bag eliminates having to wait around in a crowded baggage claim area. “Why drag your bag, when we can grab your bag?” is the company’s clever tagline.

Stress less with this hassle-free service! Not only does Grab My Bag efficiently streamline the process of getting your luggage after a flight, but it also helps disperse baggage claim area crowds.

Grab My Bag delivers your luggage to your desired destination and offers tracking along the way. Currently, Grab My Bag is accepting requests for domestic arrivals to the country’s busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson, in Atlanta. Grab My Bag officially launches on June 19, 2021.

How It Works

After you book your flight, simply “Book-a-GRAB” via the delivery service’s online reservation system. It’s quick and easy. All you have to do is enter some pertinent info: number of bags, arrival airport, airline, arrival date and time, passenger name, delivery address, contact info, flight number, and any special instructions.

Then just land and go! Grab My Bag takes care of the rest. The company’s goal is to have your bags delivered within three hours of pickup. Much like rideshare services, GRAB-ers (delivery personnel) receive ratings from customers. If airport officials are curious, GRAB-ers can show them the customer confirmation information.

What Happens If My Bags Do Not Arrive?

Lost or delayed bags? Grab My Bag saves customers the headache by corresponding with the airline. Stay in the loop by tracking the status of your bags on the handy app (coming soon). However, if your luggage has somehow been misplaced for good, you will be responsible for filing the claim with the airline.

What If My Luggage Gets Damaged?

It happens — sometimes your bag arrives with one wheel fewer than when you checked it. GRABers take photos of luggage once it comes off the carousel at baggage claim. If your bag was damaged en route, you’ll have to put in a claim with the airline. However, if you feel a GRAB-er was responsible for the damage, contact Grab My Bag.

COVID-19 Conscious

Grab My Bag lets Covid-conscious travelers bypass baggage claim. This limits exposure for travelers who have checked bags. Essentially, GRAB-ers serve as a proxy. When considering the moral question this presents, one must remember that GRAB-ers voluntarily contract with the company. The Atlanta-based company prides itself on providing a good living for GRABers, with a $20 base per delivery.
