Patriot League Announces Women’s Basketball Schedule Adjustments


BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League women’s basketball games between American and Loyola Maryland scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 2 and Sunday, Jan. 3 have been postponed. The Greyhounds will instead meet Bucknell on Saturday and Sunday.

Loyola Maryland will travel to Lewisburg, Pa. to take on Bucknell for a 2 p.m. tip-off at Sojka Pavilion on Saturday, Jan. 2. The Greyhounds will host the Bison at Reitz Arena in Baltimore at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 3. Live coverage of both games will be available on ESPN+.

The contests between the Eagles and Greyhounds will be rescheduled following discussions with the two schools and the League office.

The American University Department of Athletics is awaiting the required test results to satisfy university and Patriot League testing protocols.

Fans can visit the Patriot League’s official website – www.patriotleague.org – for up-to-date scheduling information regarding men’s and women’s basketball in addition to the League’s other 23 sports. Nearly every Patriot League men’s and women’s basketball game is available on ESPN+ – www.patriotleague.tv. International viewers can visit www.patriotleague.org/watch for League coverage. In addition, select Patriot League basketball games will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.
