The Pierre Governor boys basketball will look for a 2-0 week as they face the Douglas Patriots at home on Thursday in a game originally scheduled for mid-December.
The Govs are coming off a win on Tuesday in which they rolled over Sturgis especially in the second half 79-31 led by sophomores Lincoln Kienholz and Jackson Edman. The Patriots are coming in at 3-4 on the year sitting in 12th place in the AA standings. Pierre is trying to fight back into the top 16 as they currently sit one spot out of the SoDak 16 standings. A win over Douglas tonight would certainly move them into the top 16.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 at Riggs High School, the Governors will see the Patriots in its next game as they’ll travel to Box Elder a week from Friday.
