Police raid travellers site and seize suspected stolen items after tip-off

Police have raided a travellers site near Market Harborough after a tip-off.

Officers carried out a search warrant at about 11am yesterday, Monday February 1, at the Greenfields site on Braybrooke Road, near Great Oxenden.

Police recovered two suspected stolen items at the site.

No arrests were made.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesperson said: “This was a warrant at the Greenfields Site following intelligence received that resulted in two items suspected to have been stolen being recovered.

“The warrant was executed at about 11am yesterday”.
