Singapore Airlines on Jan. 18 will increase the frequency of nonstop service to daily between Singapore and each Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, the carrier announced Friday.
The carrier currently operates five-times weekly service between Singapore and Los Angeles International Airport, and restarted three-times weekly service last month to New York JFK and this month to San Francisco International Airport.
Singapore serves New York and San Francisco with two-class, Ultra Long Range Airbus A350-900 aircraft with 67 Business Class seats and 94 Premium Economy seats, and Los Angeles with three-class A350-900 aircraft 42 Business Class, 24 Premium Economy Class and 187 Economy Class seats.
“We are seeing some promising signs for recovery in international air travel, particularly with the start of the vaccine inoculation program,” said Singapore Airlines regional vice president for the Americas Joey Seow said in a statement.
