“Focus on the success of others and you’ll find success.” This is the mantra of Bob Myers, the entrepreneur that spends his Tuesdays handing out Super Tips to help others on their journey through life to achieve success.
“I’ve always challenged the status quo,” states Myers. “A crucial role of being an entrepreneur includes the ability to be resolute and constantly challenge yourself to do things differently.”
Continuously striving to play his part in contributing to the success of others, Myers hands out large cash tips on Tuesdays to service industry workers, nursing home staff, and even gym employees throughout his Florida community. His mission in doing so is to exemplify through actions just how the community can work together through the pandemic.
As the world feels the impact of the pandemic, essential workers have been especially vulnerable, enduring physical, emotional, and financial damages. Service industry workers have been required to manage restaurant closures and capacity restrictions, limiting their opportunity for tips, an income source they heavily rely on. This, in turn, has also impacted the arts, music, travel and their supply chains, as these employees no longer have the expendable income to support these industries.
People are suffering everywhere and need a little hope and encouragement. “Many people across the service industry are struggling right now, so let’s try to help them out with a little something special,” Myers states in his Super Tip Tuesday TikTok chronicles, where he encourages others to give back to their community.
Nursing home workers have also benefited from Bob’s generosity, as he recognizes the challenges continuously faced as they care for their residents safely during a pandemic.
“The reason behind doing this is because people across the world need help and essential workers have been working non-stop to help people and save lives,” Myers adds.
At the nursing home, Myers didn’t just stop with the nursing home employees, he wanted to make the day special for residents too. After tipping the workers $700 dollars, Myers handed them extra cash, encouraging them to bless the residents and wish them a Super Tip Tuesday.
Employees at a local Fort Myers gym were also recognized by Myers for their hard work with a Super Tip Tuesday visit. The gym was shut down for months and attendance dropped significantly, yet the employees continue to show up, smile and serve every day.
Myers plans to continue giving back to local communities every Tuesday and encourages others to follow his lead. Myers understands that his own work can only go so far and hopes to utilize his platform to inspire others to partake in Super Tip Tuesdays and recognize their essential workers with some extra love.
