UPDATE: Traffic resumes regular flow on I-77 North after Carroll County crash

UPDATE 7:10 a.m.: VDOT says crews have reopened all northbound lanes on I-77 following Wednesday morning’s tractor-trailer crash in Carroll County.

CARROLL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Wednesday morning motorists in Carroll County are starting to see backups on I-77 North because of a tractor-trailer crash.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) says the northbound left shoulder, left lane, and center lane are closed at mile marker 3.4 on I-77 because of the crash.

At this time, VDOT is reported about half a mile of delays on I-77 North.
